Namibia is a country in southern Africa. It is famous for its deserts, wildlife, and beautiful nature. The capital city is Windhoek.
Namibia borders Angola, Botswana, South Africa, and the Atlantic Ocean. One famous place is the Namib Desert with the large red sand dunes at Sossusvlei.
Namibia has about 3 million people, so it is not very crowded. The official language is English, but many people also speak Afrikaans or some German because Namibia was once a German colony.
The economy is based on mining, tourism, and farming. Many tourists visit the Etosha National Park to see animals like elephants, lions, and rhinos.
